After her master's thesis on zooplankton, biologist Susanne Stephan wanted to broaden her knowledge and did not hesitate to accept the proposed PhD position on phytoplankton at the LakeLab. Now after almost 3 months at IGB Stechlin, she is already in the thick of it, and has learned a lot of new techniques. Furthermore, she enjoys working with the highly motivated LakeLab team.
