The business sector is an important actor in problems and solutions concerning the use and protection of water and water bodies. We are therefore involved in research-based advice and cooperation, e.g. within the framework of R&D projects and other practical cooperations.
We communicate our own research results that are relevant to practitioners, e.g. in our workshop format IGB Academy. As a public and independent research institute, we share our research knowledge e.g. with SMEs, large industrial companies, but also non-profit enterprises or social enterprises.
IGB itself is not a business actor, but focuses on interesting questions between research and practice, from which both areas can benefit. Of course, we still take care to protect our intellectual property (IP).
