Providing objective advice to policymakers and authorities is an important part of our scientific work. As a public and independent research institute, we share our research knowledge with, members of parliament, parliamentary groups, committees, ministries, municipalities, working groups and other bodies.
IGB is not a political actor itself - we are non-partisan and committed to scientific evidence. We often develop research-based assessments, consultation feedback, expert reports or policy briefs on our own initiative, sometimes on request, and are available as experts, e.g. in hearings, but also for confidential background exchange.
