Michael T. Monaghan has been awarded as Honorary Professor of Biology at Freie Universität Berlin. Since 2009, he has been an authorized lecturer at the Faculties of Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, and Mathematics and Informatics. The award is recognition of his special commitment to the Freie Universität, not only in the context of the BeGenDiv, but especially in teaching. This linkage also strengthens IGB's close partnership with the universities in the Berlin area. Congratulations!
