Unfortunately, applications for the International Master’s program in “Fish Biology, Fisheries, and Aquaculture” at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin are no longer being accepted. The program’s content has now been incorporated into the Master’s program in “Integrated Natural Resource Management (INRM)” at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. This is also an international, English-language program. Since the restructuring of the INRM in the winter semester of 2026/2027, it has also covered topics in fish biology, fisheries, and aquaculture. INRM students have the option to complete a certificate in "Fish Biology, Fisheries, and Aquaculture”. Information on this can be found in the corresponding Study and Examination Regulations.
IGB researcher Prof. Robert Arlinghaus also explains the fish specialization within the INRM program in a short video (in German).
